The most common items we are asked to haul away that we cannot include: wet paint, fluorescent light bulbs, tires, aerosol cans, and pressurized canisters. If you have questions about any specific items, please ask about them when you call to book your junk removal appointment.
While renting a dumpster may seem like a cheaper option, it comes with its own set of challenges. You would need to rent the correct size dumpster(s) for your needs, handle the heavy lifting and loading of items into the dumpster, and properly dispose of the junk. With our hoarder cleanout service, we take care of all these steps for you, saving you time, energy, and (likely) money in the long run.
Yes, we are fully licensed, insured (including workers compensation insurance), and authorized to work in Edmond and throughout Oklahoma.
At Junk Platoon, we try to be as environmentally conscious as we can be. We do take a lot of items to a local rage room for their use and if you'd like us to donate items all you have to do is identify which items you'd like us to donate and we'll take them to a donation center. If you have a lot of metal, we will also pull that out and take it to a recycle center. Beyond that, everything goes to the landfill.
No, you don't need to be present during the house cleanout process. If you are unable to be present, our team will still be able to complete the job as long as we have access to the items that need to be removed and any specific instructions from you beforehand. We will request payment before we begin work, however.
